Maha al-Senan is an Art historian, a past fellow at Aga Khan program at Harvard University, She is currently an Associate Professor in Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University. In the past, she worked for five years as the general manager at the Saudi Heritage Preservation Society.

Maha is a PhD graduate from King Saud University, her thesis on pre-Islamic Art in Arabia has been awarded King Salman prize for the best doctoral study of Arabia in 2012. She is very active in the arts field and a member of board of many cultural committees

She has been awarded for her work through prizes, notifications and fellowships in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Germany, Italy and the USA.
